Have you been plagued by terrorists, ghosts, super heroes, militia, ghouls, and/or Outworld warriors. Then these are they games for you. Thanks to the summer time drought I am now able to get to some of the games I passed on over the last couple of months, for better or worse. Continue reading ‘Who You Gonna Call Reviews’
As a standard rule I don’t usually like to compare games to one another. However in the case of Prototype and Infamous I have to make an exception. These games have been in develop for well over a year and nobody can easily look over the fact the they were released with two weeks of each other. Both games are open world sandbox games with main characters that have superpowers. Both games take place in a city in distress overrun with enemies and filled normal city folk. Nothing relativity new and cool shown is coming until 2010. I do not want to get off my couch to play a game, Rock Band excluded. One thing I really liked about E3 this year was reading Kotaku’s live blogs of the press conferences. Reading Ubisoft’s live was really entertaining thanks to the banter of the writers, kudos to Luke Plunkett and Fahey. Now listed below are my thoughts on E3 in no particular order.
Thanks to Sony finally doing something decent during E3 we now have the original Final Fantasy VII on PSN. Now I could have played it before with my original copy, somewhere in the shrine. Or play it on the PC with all the cool addons and mods, I tried recently but the mod compatibility was too much trouble. So I have now decided to give it a go on the PS3. This also insures that I don’t use any hacks or cheats and play it like I did over 10 years ago. So goodbye 40-60 hours of my life, you’ll be well spent.
Side note: I copied 7 over to the PSP to see how it looked. Game looks hella better on the small screen. You also have more config options with the PSP when it comes down to controls and screen size. Very tempting to play on the PSP instead, just the battery and power cord issue.
